5 essentials you need in having a successful ROUTINE in Gymnastics at home??
What are the 5 essentials you need to having a successful home gym routine?
Before any equipment is bought or brought out. It is important to have a visual idea of your goals.
- Creating a visual idea of your goals can be as simple as writing your goals down, making a mood or dream board for your goals. Having a "vision" board or "dream board" are one of the most valuable visualisation tools available to you. The inspirational collages serve as your image of the future – a tangible example, idea or representation of where you are going. They should represent your dreams, your goals, and your ideal life. A vision board is a visualisation tool which refers to a board of any sort used to build a collage of words and pictures that represent your goals and dreams. You can either do this on "apps" , drawing, writing ideas or creating folders of videos you like of what you want to achieve !
Dedicated SPACE and TIME!
2.It is important whether you are living with family, housemates, siblings or have children to set a dedicated area and time to put towards "training" or working out. It's important to form the habit. If you are working or go to school then try "shorter" sessions more often. WAKE UP EARLY. Finishing a workout before you have started work or school has a feeling of accomplishment. Then you can start the day concentrating on work or school or kids ! Starting the day with a workout , personally is a massive mood booster for me.
Make Your Fitness Routine Non-Negotiable
3. In order to make your fitness routine work, you need to hold yourself accountable for sticking to the plan. You have to fully commit to these times the same way you would your most important obligations.
Think about when you wake up for work. Sure, you’d much rather sleep in instead of getting up at the crack of dawn to go to your job. But you don’t say, “Maybe tomorrow I’ll get up and try to go to work then.” You get your butt out of bed and go to work, because you’re committed.
